What is a CEEQUAL assessment?
Launched in 2003, CEEQUAL stands for Civil Engineering Environmental Quality Assessment and Awards Scheme.
CEEQUAL encourages civil engineers to go beyond the legal minimum for environmental and sustainability factors in construction projects. The scheme works in partnership with BREEAM who provide sustainability assessment methods.
The scheme allows for the environmental sustainability of civil engineering projects to be assessed and measured using evidence from areas of the construction project. The scores from different areas are then combined and the project will be given an award of pass, good, very good or excellent. All our engineers are trained to carry out CEEQUAL assessments up to and including Version 6 of the scheme.

What will a CEEQUAL assessment look at?
A CEEQUAL assessment looks at the potential impact on social and environmental areas of a construction project including:
